Status and messages
What the deck is doing, along the bottom and above the slide.
Where it is
Bottom of the window, and a bar above the slide when needed
What you can do
- Which slide you are on, what is selected, and whether it is saved.
- Zoom: out, in, 100%, fit the slide or fit the selection.
- A bar appears if the file changed on disk or is open elsewhere: reload, keep yours or save as.
- After opening PowerPoint or Keynote, a bar says what was left out and offers Choose typefaces….
