Guide / 03
Your first model
Drop a photo in. A few seconds to a few minutes later it's a textured 3D model you can turn around.
Where it is
Drag photos onto the window, or press Ctrl+O
What you can do
- Drop photos (jpg, png, webp, bmp or tif) anywhere in the window, or press Ctrl+O to pick them. Several at once queue up and are made one after another.
- The engine starts with the first photo and keeps the model loaded, so later photos go straight to work.
- Each model is saved as a .glb file next to its photo, with the same name, and shown as soon as it's done.
- Photos of one object on a plain background work best. The background is removed for you, and stray specks are dropped so they don't become floating bits.
- Anything the photo doesn't show, like the back or the underneath, is the model's best guess.
- Nothing is uploaded: the model runs on your graphics card.
