The install steps and the latest release are on GitHub. Nothing else on your desktop changes.
Where it is
A terminal · github.com/28allday/omanta
What you can do
- Follow the install steps on GitHub (github.com/28allday/omanta#install). They always match the latest release.
- Installing changes none of your defaults. Nautilus, or whatever you use now, stays the file manager until you switch (see Make it your file manager).
- Omanta's window is called Files. Open it from the app launcher.
- Optional extras: gvfs-smb, gvfs-mtp and gvfs-gphoto2 for network shares, phones and cameras; ffmpegthumbnailer for video thumbnails; localsearch for searching inside files.
- To remove it: omanta-switch nautilus and omanta-switch remove-menu if you switched, then sudo pacman -R omanta.
