Switch view and View options (▼) at the top right · Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2

What you can do

• Ctrl+1 shows a list, Ctrl+2 shows icons. The button left of ▼ switches too. New windows open in the view you used last.
• Ctrl+plus and Ctrl+minus make icons bigger or smaller, and Ctrl+0 resets them. View options has the same − and + buttons. The list and the icons each keep their own size.
• In the list, click a column heading to sort by it, and click it again to reverse the order.
• View options sorts by name (A-Z, Z-A), last or first modified, size or type.
• View options, Visible Columns… (list view only) chooses the columns: size, type, owner, group, permissions and three dates. The arrows change their order.
• Ctrl+H shows or hides hidden files, the ones whose names start with a dot.
• Pictures, videos and PDFs show as thumbnails, from the same thumbnail store other apps use.
