Exporting
Measure the mix, set the level for where it's going, and export the whole project or a time selection.
Where it is
The Mastering page (Alt+4) · Export… (Ctrl+Shift+E) · File › Export Audio…
What you can do
- Analyse mix measures how loud the whole mix is (LUFS), how much that varies (loudness range) and its highest true peak.
- Choose a Target preset for where it's going, or set the format, sample rate, bit depth and channels yourself.
- Choose Keep current level, Set peak level, or Set loudness to reach a LUFS target below the true-peak limit.
- Export… asks how much (Whole project or Time selection only) and what (Full mix or Selected tracks, one file per track).
- Watch the Queue tab; when it's done, Show in folder finds the file. Export again repeats it with the same settings.
- Export makes an audio file; Save keeps the editable .omaaudio project.
