Process Many Files
Put a folder of recordings through the same effects or recipe, each to a new file.
Where it is
File › Process Many Files… (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+B) · Recipes › Run on: Files…
What you can do
- Add files…, choose an existing output folder and a suffix (-processed by default). Originals and existing files are never replaced.
- Choose format, depth, rate, channels and level. Original keeps each file's own rate or layout.
- Effects: none, the focused track's, the master's, or a recipe. Settings are captured when you press Process files.
- With a recipe, Loudness to target sets the delivered loudness; Room echo, Find and Repair Clicks, fades and Shorten pauses aren't done on files, and Voice Cleanup needs a 48 kHz output. The result names anything left out.
- Each file gets its own result: output, format, loudness and any warning. A failed file doesn't stop the others; Retry tries it again.
- The queue survives restarts: unfinished files come back paused, ready to resume. The project itself is never changed.
