Markers
Name places to find again, mark ranges, jump between them, and write them into exported files.
Where it is
M · the Markers tab in the left-hand panel · File › Metadata…
What you can do
- M adds a marker at the playhead; with a time selection it adds a range marker over it.
- The Markers panel lists them: double-click a name to change it, click one to jump to it, search them by name.
- Ctrl+. and Ctrl+, step to the next and previous marker.
- File › Metadata… › Markers chooses which markers become cue points in the exported file: none, the project's markers, or the markers carried by the source files.
- Ctrl+L loops the selection; the loop is for playing and isn't saved.
