Recipes
A saved list of steps, built once and run on any recording in one click, as one Undo step.
Where it is
The Recipes tab in the right-hand panel · Effects › Recipes
What you can do
- Three recipes are built in: Podcast voice, Clean up a phone recording, and Music bed under speech.
- New recipe, give it a name, then Add step… for each step: Low cut, Mains hum, Voice Cleanup, Room echo, Find and Repair Clicks, Loudness to target, Limit peaks, Even out, Change level, fades, Harsh "s", Presence, Width, Shorten pauses, or any installed effect.
- Change… sets a step; drag a step by its dots to reorder; its switch skips it without removing it. Save keeps the recipe on this computer, for every project.
- Run on: Selection, This track, or Files… (which opens Process Many Files with the recipe chosen). The tab shows each step as it runs; Stop puts the audio back.
- The whole run is one Undo step. A step that can't run is skipped and the reason shown.
- Record steps builds a recipe from what you do: each effect you apply, fade or pause edit becomes a step.
- Run Last Recipe Again (Shift+Alt+R) repeats the last one.
