The Sound panel and Quick Fixes
Say what a track is, then turn on the fixes it needs, and set its loudness.
Where it is
The Sound tab in the right-hand panel · Effects › Quick Fixes
What you can do
- Choose what the track holds: Voice, Music, Effects or Ambience. For a voice, Start from picks a starting point such as Podcast voice.
- Fixes for a voice: Background noise, Rumble and pops, Mains hum (50 or 60 Hz), Harsh "s", Room echo, Even out and Presence. Each plays live and stays adjustable.
- Every fix is a real effect on the track, visible with all its controls in Track Effects.
- Under Loudness, choose a target and press Match: OmaAudio measures the track and sets its level without passing the peak limit.
- For music, Duck under voices lowers the music while voices play, and Length fits a clip to a duration.
- Effects › Quick Fixes › Voice Cleanup… reduces background noise in speech, on your own computer. Lower amounts blend in more of the original.
