Recording
Choose an input, arm a track or not, and press Record.
Where it is
The red Record button · File › Record… · Ctrl+Shift+R
What you can do
- Open the Recording panel, choose the input and mono or stereo, and press Start recording. Space or Stop finishes.
- Press a track's R first to record onto it. With nothing armed, the take is added as a new track just under the track you're on.
- Punch into selected range replaces just the selected stretch of an armed track.
- Count-in beats and pre-roll give you a lead-in. Loop passes record several takes of a selection.
- Window › Audio Setup… checks your inputs, outputs and connections.
- One Undo removes the whole take.
