The window
Four pages for one project, docks either side, and help on every control.
Where it is
Take, Arrange, Spectral and Mastering, at the top of the window · Alt+1 to Alt+4
What you can do
- Take edits one track in detail. Arrange lays out tracks and clips. Spectral finds and repairs unwanted sound. Mastering checks the whole mix and exports it.
- The panel on the left holds Files, Markers and History. The panel on the right holds Effects, Sound, Recipes, Inspector and Video for the active track.
- The active track is the one you're working on: click a track to make it active. Most edits affect the selection on that track.
- Space plays and stops. Click the sound display to move the playhead.
- Rest the pointer on any control for a short explanation. F1 explains the control under the pointer.
- Drag the dividers to resize the panels. View shows a hidden panel; Window › Reset Layout puts everything back.
